Start2Finish Events works alongside the SJA’s award committee on all aspects of staging this event from facilitating the competition, collation of entries, overseeing the judging, venue sourcing, print and design, production of trophies, invitations, scripts, audio visual, budgets, transport and the on the day event production.
Audience: National newspapers, photographic agencies, news agency, broadcast companies, anyone who works or is involved in sports journalism, media and broadcast.
Sky Sports Living for Sport Live Events, 26 one day events held around the country. We have identified the venues for these events and taken the venues to contract stage, produced risk assessments and undertaken all ongoing liaison with the venues.
We have provided on-site support to the Youth Sport Trust, Sky Sports Living for Sport and the athlete mentors to ensure that the volunteers and the school children get the most from their day.
Audience: Sky staff volunteers and local primary school children.
The 10th International Short Break Conference was held in Edinburgh this year and ran over 3 days and included a comprehensive conference programme and varied social events.
The event combined, pre-conference tours, plenary, keynote working and networking opportunities as well as a host of social events including a gala dinner, a ceilidh, gin tasting and a literary tour.
We provided all the online conference registrations, issuing of invoices and financial reconciliation, provision of a help line as well as on-site assistance with the registration.
We also provided the ISBA with an event management consultancy picking up the venue liaison for the conference and the organisation of their gala dinner at the National Museum of Scotland.
Audience: 300 delegates from 17 countries came together to overcome challenges and make connections.
Start2Finish worked with us on an international conference on respite care which brought together 300 delegates from 17 countries. We couldn’t be more pleased with their support and professionalism. The event takes place over two days and the programme combines plenary, keynote, workshop and networking opportunities as well as a conference party and drinks reception.
S2F Events provide all the conference logistics and speaker liaison. As well as the on-site logistics with the hotel we also organise the exhibition, ensure sponsorship opportunities are met and organise the MRS conference party and post-conference drinks reception.
We also oversee the audio and technical production comprising of three teams of technicians and some very tight and complicated room turnarounds.
Audience: Over 700 delegates belonging to member organisations, non-members, student and other organisations with an interest or involved in market research.
A series of one day road shows held at iconic Scottish sporting venues. The programme is aimed at young people in school between the ages of 14-17, their role is to motivate and inspire other young people from primary and secondary schools across Scotland to get involved in sport and to generate enthusiasm for major games.
The sessions are hosted by Scottish Olympic and Commonwealth champions.
Start2Finish events provided the online registration website for Young Ambassadors and their mentors for all the events; this included the booking of over 1000 attendees who were automatically allocated to regional events based on the location of their schools. We also provided all the logistics for the venues, people and kit as well as on site management on the day.
This is our fourth year working with sportscotland on this project.
Audience: Young Ambassadors, their teachers and mentors from all regions of Scotland. This year we had over 1000 attendees.
