Making an impact at the Market Research Conference

Another successful Market Research Conference was held at The Grange Hotel, Tower Bridge, the week beginning March 12 2018. S2F Event Management were delighted to be supporting the Market Research Society (MRS) during IMPACT week.

The MRS is the UK professional body for research, insight and analytics. MRS recognise 5,000 individual members and over 500 accredited Company Partners in over 50 countries who are committed to delivering outstanding insight.

The conference began with a welcome from Jane Frost CBE, CEO of MRS and Stan Sthanunathan, conference patron and EVP consumer and market insights, Unilever. On a topical note the first keynote speaker, Jayne-Anne Gadhia , CEO of Virgin Money discussed women in business, the modern challenge of achieving a work-life balance and the winning back of customer trust. The audience were keen to engage, and the day continued in the same vein with eager questions asked from those attending.

There was plenty to interest the delegates; three rooms hosted various themes including, Adapting to change in society and culture and Opportunities through technology and data. Influential keynote speakers, Ian Hislop, David Schneider, Dexter Dias QC and Val McDermid gave entertaining and thoughtful interviews, leaving the delegates with much to digest over the two days.
