FIDI is the global alliance of professional international moving and relocation companies. Each year FIDI’s annual conference rotates to a different city and continent. We have organised this conference in various different places in Europe, Asia, America and in Africa.

Over 650 delegates attend from over 100 countries. The conference takes place over 5 days and comprises of business sessions,  networking opportunities, association meetings, cultural activities and a social programme.

Start2Finish Events is contracted by FIDI to organise all aspects of their annual conference which includes venue selection, budget management, conference website and registration as well as all aspects of event management and on-site delivery.  We report to both FIDI Board and the FIDI 39 Club Board on a regular basis to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of their showcase event.

The FIDI Conference is a good demonstration of how we work with event technology. We set-up and manage the event website with a host of information on the event from the agenda to FAQs. The registration system we set-up and manage collects over 1 million euros in revenue, allows registrants to register themselves and their colleagues whilst building their personal agendas from over 75 session and social programme options. Attendees then have access to an online attendee area where they can view an online delegate list, contact other attendees, see their personal agendas and post on the event 'social wall'. Finally in the month building up to the event we launch the event app, which has all the functions of the 'attendee area' and gives users quick access to all the information that they will need in the build up to and at the event.
